Credits & Billing

1 credit = 1 tailored resume plus a matching cover letter for one job. Current packs are 1 ($5), 10 ($45), 25 ($100), 50 ($175), 100 ($300). Credits never expire.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through our secure Stripe payment processor. We do not store your credit card information.
You may request a refund within 14 days. Purchases with 1-3 used credits qualify for a full refund; 4-10 used credits qualify for a 50% refund; purchases with more than 10 used credits are not refundable under the standard policy. Email support@imvivid.com.
No. Under the current policy, unused credits do not expire.
Currently, credits are non-transferable and tied to individual accounts. We're working on a gift card feature for future releases.
Resume Quality & ATS

An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) stores and processes applications for employers. Vivid uses conservative formatting, standard section headings, and job-relevant language to reduce common parsing problems, but no document can guarantee passage through every employer workflow.
The score checks job-description alignment, formatting, section headers, contact-information completeness, and other observable document signals. It is a diagnostic score, not a prediction that an employer will advance the application.
Yes! Generated resumes are fully editable in DOCX format. We recommend reviewing and personalizing the content to ensure it accurately represents your experience and achievements.
AI output can contain errors. Vivid compares drafts with the information you supplied and flags unsupported details, but you must verify every claim before using the resume or cover letter.
Templates provide structure but leave the writing and job-specific decisions to you. Vivid adds guided gap questions, job-specific drafting, five simulated review perspectives, and application tracking.
AI Transparency & Quality

Each resume goes through 7 phases — job analysis, content generation, ATS optimization, expert review (5 parallel AI review agents), feedback reconciliation, cover letter generation, and final verification. Within each phase, the AI performs multiple discrete operations: extracting keywords, matching skills to job requirements, rewriting bullets, checking formatting, verifying claims against your resume, and more. The total across all phases is approximately 80 distinct operations. It's not a marketing number — it's the actual count of processing steps in the pipeline.
Absolutely not. Unlike some competitors, we never inject invisible text, white-on-white keywords, or any hidden content. What you see in your resume is exactly what recruiters and ATS systems see. We believe in transparent, ethical AI practices.
Vivid instructs the models to use the career information you supplied and runs source-comparison checks for unsupported details. These controls reduce risk but do not make AI error-free, so the applicant must review the final documents.
Our Voice Matcher agent specifically ensures natural language that maintains YOUR authentic voice. If your resume sounds generic, we'll reprocess it at no charge. We don't keyword-stuff — we intelligently reframe.

Absolutely. Each job-specific application kit uses 1 credit and includes a customized resume plus matching cover letter. You can store unlimited kits in your account.
We currently offer 4 professionally designed templates: Modern, Classic, Minimal, and Creative. All templates are ATS-compatible and can be customized with your preferred colors and formatting.
Your resume dashboard shows all generated resumes with the job title and company name. You can add notes and tags to help track your applications.
This feature is coming soon! For now, you can use your generated resume content to update your LinkedIn profile manually.
Account & Security

Yes. We use bank-level encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data transmission, encrypt sensitive data at rest, and host on secure AWS infrastructure. We never sell your personal information.
Only you can access your resumes. We do not share, sell, or display your resume content to anyone without your explicit permission.
Yes. You can permanently delete your account from Settings > Data Privacy. This will erase all your personal data, resumes, and purchase history in compliance with GDPR.
Go to Settings > Data Privacy > Export Data. You'll receive a downloadable file with all your personal information, resumes, and account activity.
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. We'll email you a secure reset link valid for 1 hour. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder or contact support.
Referral Program

After your first paid purchase, share your unique link. If a new customer joins through it within 30 days and makes their first paid purchase, you each receive 1 bonus application-kit credit.
There is no published numerical limit, but each referral must be a genuine new customer and comply with the program rules.
Credits are added after the qualifying payment is confirmed. You'll receive both an in-app notification and an email. If that purchase is refunded, charged back, or otherwise reversed, both rewards are reversed.
No. Self-referrals are prohibited and will result in credit forfeiture and potential account suspension.
Troubleshooting

First, check that your uploaded resume is in PDF, DOCX, or TXT format and under 10MB. If the issue persists, contact support with your request ID and we'll investigate. If Vivid cannot complete both the tailored resume and matching cover letter, the application-kit credit is refunded.
Check your spam/junk folder. If it's not there, click "Resend Verification Email" on the verification page. If you still don't receive it, contact support.
Download links expire after 7 days for security. If a link expires, you can regenerate it from your application-kit dashboard at no additional cost; the tailored resume and matching cover letter remain part of the same credit.
Payment processing can be delayed. Application-kit credits usually appear within 5 minutes. Each includes a tailored resume plus matching cover letter for one job. If they do not appear, check your billing history or contact support with your transaction ID.
