ATS compliance refers to how well a resume adheres to the formatting standards, structural conventions, and content requirements needed for Applicant Tracking Systems to process it accurately. Achieving ATS compliance involves addressing multiple dimensions simultaneously. Structural compliance means using standard section headings, a single-column layout, and a logical top-to-bottom reading order.
